The End of Time
ONE
We know from Scripture, Tradition and the Magisterium the four things that will occur before the end of time. They are expressed in the Catechism (673-677)
The Good News of Jesus Christ must be proclaimed to the whole world and all the Gentiles (non-Jews) who are going to be converted will be so that the full number of Gentiles, become Christian.
Luke 24:14 This gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations (Gentiles); and then the end will come.
CCC 674 speaks of the "the full number of the Gentiles"
How will we know when we are getting close?
Luke 21:24 Jerusalem will be trodden down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are finished
Jerusalem was destroyed and the Jews were removed from Israel in 70 and again 132 AD
· In 638 AD the Holy Land was conquered by the Muslims
· It wasn’t until 1905 that Tel Aviv was established as a kibutz
· Only after 1948 was the State of Israel established
· 1967 during the Six Day War Israel took all the land but the Temple Mount
· Now Israel is in total control of the West Bank – Palestine
· Building 1000s of Settlements
Well, for the first time since 66 AD, Jerusalem is no longer “trodden down” that is, under the control of the Gentiles” – that should give us something to think about…
TWO
Soon after, that is in the wake of the full number of Gentiles entering the covenant with God, the Jews will recognize Jesus as the Messiah and become Christian
Paul writes in Romans 11: 25-26
There is a hidden reason for all this, brothers, of which I do not want you to be ignorant, in case you think you know more than you do. One section of Israel has become blind, but this will last only until the full number of Gentiles has entered, and then after this the rest of Israel will be saved as well.
THREE
Then will come the supreme deception of the Antichrist
CCC 675 Before Christ’s second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers.
This final trial will come at the hands of the Antichrist.
It will take the form of a supreme religious deception in which the Anti-Christ will offer people an apparent solution to all their problems at the price of rejecting Christianity
This is what happened in Russia 100 years ago and it is happening in the West now…
In 1978, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, a Russian Political Prison, was released from the Siberian Labor Camps and allowed to come to the US. At that time he said
· “If I were asked today to formulate as concisely as possible the main cause of the ruinous Revolution that swallowed up some sixty million of our people, I could not put it more accurately than to repeat: Men have forgotten God; that’s why all this has happened.”
· That is why Our Lady comes, to remind us of God
· That is why she sends us – to lead others to Jesus through Mary – especially through the Rosary
FOUR
Then Christ will come to Judge the Living and the Dead
Matthew 25:31 “When the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate them one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, 33 and he will place the sheep at his right hand, but the goats at the left. 34 Then the King will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; 35 for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink? 38 And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee? 39 And when did we see thee sick or in prison and visit thee?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.’ 41 Then he will say to those at his left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels; 42 for I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ 44
Then they also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see thee hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to thee?’ 45 Then he will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me.’ 46 And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
FIVE
The World will NOT end soon
Many saints, mystics and the messages of approved apparitions have prophesied
There will be a minor apostasy, a falling away from the faith, which we are experiencing now throughout Europe, North and South America
· 100,000,000 people Baptized as Catholics in the U.S
· 15,000,000 attend Mass regularly – each Sunday
· 85% of baptized Catholics don’t go to Mass regularly
· Since COVID only ¼ of that…
This will be Followed by a great tribulation
· After which will occur the reunion of all Christians
The reunion of Christians will be brought about by the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Era of Peace promised at Fatima
· I believe Mary will at this time also bring the Muslims to Jesus because they revere her above all women
St. John Paul II foresaw
· the "New Evangelization"
· and a "Civilization of Love" in the Third Millennium of Christianity
This would place us in the period just before the Re-evangelization of the entire world – Not the End of the World
