Hell is for Real

ONE

Hell is real and St. Faustina gives a testimony of it in her diary. (Diary 741)

She says; “Today, I was led by an Angel to the chasms of Hell. It is a place of great torture; how awesomely large and extensive it is!”

Then she describes the eternal suffering of Hell. Afterward she writes; I am writing this at the command of God, so that no soul may find an excuse by saying there is no Hell, or that nobody has ever been there, and so no one can say what it is like. I, Sister Faustina, by the order of God, have visited the abysses of Hell so that I might tell souls about it and testify to its existence. I cannot speak about it now; but I have received a command from God to leave it in writing….But I noticed one thing: that most of the souls there are those who disbelieved that there is a hell.”

TWO

Jesus often speaks of “Gehenna,” the Hebrew word for Hell, of “the unquenchable fire” reserved for those who at the end of their lives refuse to believe and be converted, where both soul and body can be lost.

Mark 9:42-49 Jesus said; “And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire. And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into Hell.”

What are the sins that I have grown so accustomed to in my life that I don’t even recognize as sins anymore?

What do I need to cut off and pluck out?

THREE

Vicka, one of the visionaries from Medjugorje, gave this testimony: “We saw many people in Hell. Many are there already, and many more will go there when they die…The Blessed Mother says that those people who are in Hell are there because they chose to go there. They wanted to go to Hell…We all know that there are persons on this Earth who simply don’t admit that God exists, even though He helps them, gives them life and sun and rain and food. He always tries to nudge them onto the path of holiness. They just say they don’t believe, and they deny Him. They deny Him, even when it is time to die. And they continue to deny Him, after they are dead. It is their choice. It is their will that they go to Hell. They choose Hell.”

FOUR

How could someone choose Hell? God sends no one to Hell.

Sin is to turn away from God. When we make sin a habit, it results in an aversion for God and the things of God. If we have an aversion to God, then we won’t desire God or choose Him. We

won’t want to spend time in prayer, we won’t want to go to Mass or confession or learn our faith or live according to the moral teachings of Jesus.

This is why sin leads people to pray less, go to Mass less, take care of the poor and defenseless less. Why? Because when we make a habit of turning away from God in sin, it creates an aversion to God and all the things of God.

This is so dangerous because if we live and die with an aversion for God then we will reject Him when we see him after death. I mean, hey, if you have an aversion to prayer and doing God’s will on earth and that becomes second nature to you – then that is who you become. God sends no one to Hell. People choose it because they have an aversion to God and the things of God. So the more we choose sin, the more our aversion grows which if unchecked is deadly. That is why Jesus says; “If your eye

or hand cause you to sin, cut it off, because sin will kill you.”

FIVE

We condemn no one to Hell. We are on a rescue mission. We are trying to help Jesus and Mary save as many as possible from Hell. And Our Lady has given us the plan.

In July of 1917 Mary took the three children of Fatima to Hell.

Immediately after this experience she said to them; “‘You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to My Immaculate Heart.”

We can literally help save people from Hell through Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary:

  1. Consecrate yourself to Mary and Live the Consecration

II.    Pray the Rosary every day

III.    First Saturdays of Reparation

IV.    Spread Devotion to the Heart of Mary through family and friendship

Mary is the Spiritual Mother of every person. That which causes her the most suffering is the eternal loss of even one of her children.

That is why she turns us, to her children who are listening, begging us to help her children who are lost to turn back to God before death, before it is too late for them.

We can help our family and friends to heaven by some simple steps. Commit to pray the Rosary every day and then invite someone to pray the Rosary with you. If you do that, then live out First Saturday Devotion. If you do that already, then make your home a place where you live genuine friendship – then your kids, grandkids and many others will come closer to Jesus. Be Apostles of friendship with Jesus and friendship with others.
