Mike Scherschligt has a Licentiate in Sacred Theology (STL) from the Marianum in Rome. He serves as the founder and Director of School of Faith. The School of Faith program currently teaches over 1200 individuals including students at KU, parishioners throughout the Archdiocese and Catholic school teachers.

Mike previously taught at the Saint Lawrence Catholic Center at the University of Kansas for ten years. These programs have certified many catechists with a 3-year program completed to prepare students to become active and vital participants in their parishes and church communities. Mike and his wife, Sandy, have five children and are co-founders of a new Catholic lay movement with the Apostles of the Interior Life called "Collaborators of Your Joy".
